Mr. Diwakar B. Gandhi is a renowned & widely acclaimed professional among Corporate Community. A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) since 1982 and former member of Delhi Stock Exchange (DSE) and United Exchange of India. Mr. Gandhi has worked in his early career with a prominent business house of the country and gathered firsthand experience of manufacturing such as heavy machines, railway wagon, cotton spinning and steel.
Mr. Gandhi then graduated to capital markets and enriched proficiency as a Merchant Banker. A well harvested spectrum enabled Mr. Gandhi to later on cultivate Investment Banking Business. The first few successful transactions manifested plunge into Private Equity (PE), now backed by a committed team and portfolio of investments into diversified verticals that includes IT, SaaS banking & retail software, Media, Hybrid Seeds, Construction & Real Estate, Auto- component, Water Infrastructure, Art Exhibitions and Fairs, Manned Guards Private Security Services, Fintech & b2b digital Payment, Solar, Green Hydrogen & Clean Energy, Influential Marketing, Digital Promotion , Drone technology & skill development & Recycling sustainable circular economy .
Mr. Gandhi translated four decades of domain expertise into a vibrant professional organization. Having grown within both industry & capital markets over a numerous business cycles of bulls & bears, Mr. Gandhi articulated the art of sourcing & negotiating spectacular PE and M&A deals in Tier-II & Tier- III cities across the country. The major endeavors are now brought under the umbrella of India Emerging Group of Companies.
Mr. Gandhi has served as a Director on the board of Shriram City Union Finance Limited, an India’s leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) which is now merged with Shriram Transport Finance Limited and has become “Shriram Finance Limited”, a part of Shriram Group which is in the 50th year of its existence. FAMILY ROOTS
Gandhi's for the ages were the nominated Diwan (Minister) of erstwhile princely State DUNGARPUR. The state of Dungarpur known as the City of Hills has rich history of origin since 1282. Mr. Gandhi has two daughters educated in INDIA, UK, USA & Switzerland. The elder one is actively involved in private equity business and the younger one is Masters in Law from University College of London and an alumnus of Villa Pierrefue, Glion, Switzerland, Original Swiss Finishing School.
Mr. Gandhi, a livsnjutare and an ardent enthusiast of nature, wildlife, biking, trekking, paragliding and other adventurous activities has travelled across the globe. Mr. Gandhi loves exploring off beat destination, places of historical importance, heritage sites & museums, a renowned art catalyst.
